These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of mrgreendc.com and the retail, pickup, delivery, rewards, and text messaging services of MrGreen DC (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using our website, placing an order, or visiting our store, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be 21 years of age or older (or a qualifying medical patient under District of Columbia law) with valid government-issued identification to purchase from MrGreen DC. We verify age and identity on every order. You are responsible for the accuracy of the identification and information you provide, and presenting false, altered, or borrowed identification is grounds for immediate refusal of service.
2. Products and Compliance
MrGreen DC is a licensed cannabis dispensary operating in Washington, DC. All products are sold in compliance with applicable District of Columbia law. Products are for personal use by the purchaser within the District of Columbia and may not be resold, transferred to minors, or transported across state lines. You are solely responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your purchase, possession, and use of cannabis products.
3. Health and Safety Warnings; Assumption of Risk
- Cannabis products are intoxicating and can impair concentration, coordination, and judgment. Do not drive a motor vehicle or operate machinery under the influence.
- There may be health risks associated with the consumption of cannabis, including for individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have pre-existing medical conditions. Consult your physician before use.
- Products have not been analyzed or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Statements about products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
- Keep all cannabis products away from children and pets.
- Effects vary by individual. Start low and go slow, especially with edibles, which can take up to 2 hours or longer to take effect.
By purchasing or consuming products obtained from MrGreen DC, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of cannabis products, including adverse reactions, allergic reactions, interactions with medications, and impairment, and you accept full responsibility for storing products securely and using them lawfully and responsibly.
4. No Medical Advice
Information provided by MrGreen DC — on this website, in marketing materials, or by our staff (including budtenders) — is for general informational purposes only and is not medical advice. Product descriptions, potency figures, and effects information are based on supplier and laboratory data and customer-reported experiences and are not guaranteed. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider regarding medical use of cannabis.
5. Orders, Pickup, and Delivery
Orders may be placed online for in-store pickup or delivery within our service area. We may refuse, limit, or cancel any order at our discretion, including where age or identity cannot be verified or where we suspect fraud, resale, or diversion. Delivery requires the recipient to be present and to show valid ID matching the order; responsibility for products passes to you upon handoff. If a delivery cannot be completed because a valid recipient is not available, the order may be returned and a redelivery or restocking fee may apply.
6. All Sales Final; Returns
Due to the regulated nature of cannabis products, all sales are final. Unopened products with a verifiable manufacturing defect may be exchanged at our discretion in accordance with DC regulations — contact us within 48 hours of purchase with your receipt. Nothing in this section limits rights you may have under applicable law that cannot be waived.
7. Pricing, Promotions, and Availability
Prices, discounts, rewards, promotions, and product availability are subject to change or termination at any time without notice. In the event of a pricing or listing error, we may cancel affected orders. Rewards points and promotional credits have no cash value and may be adjusted or revoked in cases of error or abuse.
8. SMS / Text Message Program Terms
- By opting in to MrGreen DC text messages (online, in store, or by texting us), you consent to receive recurring order-related and promotional text messages from MrGreen DC at the number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) MrGreen DC, its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising out of or relating to the Services or your purchase or use of any product; and (b) our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or order giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MrGreen DC, its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your violation of these Terms or applicable law; (b) your misuse of any product, including unlawful resale, transfer to any person under 21, or transport outside the District of Columbia; (c) false or misleading information or identification you provide; or (d) your negligence or willful misconduct.
13. Dispute Resolution; Class Action Waiver
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at info@mrgreendc.com and give us 30 days to resolve the issue informally. Except for matters properly brought in small claims court, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Services, or any product will be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, held in Washington, DC. You and MrGreen DC each waive the right to a jury trial and agree that disputes will be brought only on an individual basis — not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative action. If the class action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim shall proceed in court, and the remainder of this section remains in effect.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
15. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, power or network outages, supplier or platform failures, regulatory action, or other unforeseen events.
16. Severability; Entire Agreement; Changes
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and MrGreen DC regarding the Services. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
